Deb, my box was picked up, not delivered.. on the 15th, I was home on the 14th so it should of been delivered right to our home. (unless we had a sub carrier and he was just to lazy to deliver it...lol. ) This is the first time that has ever happened,plus our postal carrier knows if someone isnt home to leave it at my sons house right next doo. So, I am not sure why it is saying it was delivered on the 14. I will get it back in the mail ASAP, like I always do, but I cant see it sitting over the weekend! I'm in northern Wisc. its getting cold here as well. Corinne

Stunning! All of them :) What is the floor, in the top bathroom, made of? Could we see a closer shot of the Oceana glass sink? Mine is still in it's box :( I have the crystal reflections undermount. How do you like yours so far? Ohh, could you do a quick favor please? Would you mind running your fingernail around the inside of the sink and tell me if you feel any very tiny hairline fissures? You won't be able to see them. My first Oceana sink had several of these cracks. The company tried to tell me they were a normal part of the process...phooy! A girl who sells them says she's never seen one with them, hers didn't have them. The SAMPLES of glass they sent don't have them. They finally agreed to send me another sink and it too has the very tiny, fine hairline *fissures*. I gave up. I love LOVE the sink, I just hope this doesn't prove to be a problem down the road. Thanks, Jan, I think the hair and face were what attracted me to her as well. I have to confess however that I took some "artistic license" on the hair. Just couldn't get it to look exactly like the pattern so did it "my way". LOL The pattern also called for red glitter boots, but I didn't like the red after I had painted on the basecoat, so again I changed it. I used some of the fine MS black glitter and it is much easier to work with than other glitter I've used. However, I need to learn how to sprinkle on just a little instead of ending up covering the whole thing! LOL I just think she will be a fun addition to my decorations. I like having things out front that will make the little Trick or Treaters smile. Luvs

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the island. It is hard to tell in the picture but the color of the island is Acadia White by benjamin moore. It is actually a pottery barn white and is a little more cream colored than the white shutters. I am liking the brown stools as well, it's unanimous, they are staying!!! bluekitobsessed, yes, this was a quick weekend project. I guess when i have my mind set on something i want in down now. I know, i need to take heed of the "patience is a virtue" proverb, haha. Thanks again for looking and all the encouraging words. Moonkat99, lol, no this kitchen isn't always that clean. With 3 kids and a DH that is next to impossible. I guess when i take pics i instinctively clean before any pictures are actually taken.
