Thanks everyone!! The bottle bug eyes are large flat glass beads with round beads glued to them. The wings were each metal leaves attached to a 99cent candle holder at a local closeout store. They were flimsily attached with a tack weld so i figured they'd be easy to pull off and repurpose as wings.

It's a female tiger swallowtail, yellow form. There's also a black form female - they're more common than the yellow females in my area. Congrats! She's quite a beauty! MissSherry

Beautiful Minrose! Especially that first one. I've only visited the butterfly house in St. Louis. I loved seeing the tropical butterflies and plants. My kids were little and still remember it. I think having the butterflies land on them makes a big impression.

Ok, Mr. Smartypants! LOL! My brain has totally 'checked out' on many subjects since I have been going back to school. Can't count change, can't spell (thank goodness for spell check!), can't remember the most simple things. Surely I can be forgiven for this simple "brain fart". Huh?? Give a girl a break??
