I don't know for sure that the one you are looking for is on this site, but there are 266 photos of BBs there. Also over 100 pictures of garden art, among other things. There are wonderful pictures there. When you get to the site, click on photos at the top of the page. The next page has several listings but at the bottom of the page ( after the mosiacs heading) it says "All galleries" that is where the Bowling balls are. I don't know how to link....some one else might do that. This group split from garden junk because of Spike's rules (Some of you may remember Spike before IVillage). It's an interesting site. I'm not sure what the rooster is made of.Some kind of metal that has a green patina to it. The sunflowers all came up from seed. We had our birdfeeder sitting there and they must have thrown most of the seeds out because I have sunflowers growing all over the garden.I like sunflowers so I just let them grow.Next year though I will have to put them at the back of the garden because you can't see my flowers behind them all. :0)

Oldcrafty, you could have a Garden Junk Bunco party...but then again, everyone would fight to take the blue bottles home! LOL I shined the pennies up with some copper shine I had. I tried a variety of methods from Coke to baking soda and the copper shine worked the best. I then sprayed a shiny sealant on top. It has tarnished a bit since the picture but not much. Your cross sounds beautiful! I would love to see a picture. :o) Betty, welcome!!!! I hope you post a picture of your bottle tree! Sounds neat!!! I had to stabilize mine with rocks. I glued together the pieces as well. I really want to see yours...you could sell them! I bought a really nice heavy one at Gardener's Supply online. We found the smaller blue bottles at Walmart in the wine department. My wife also found some at a beer/wine making shop. Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Materials Needed: Old Bowling Ball 650 Half Marbles or glass gems(approx. 6bgs of 12oz marbles) 1 Tube Silicone Glue (GE Silicone II, clear, outdoor) Cereal Bowl (or something to hold the work in progress) Wood Putty (optional) Outdoor Spray Paint (optional) Assembly Steps: Using the Silicone glue work in sections to glue the half marbles in place. The glue will hold almostimmediately so place the marbles carefully. It is best to do the top half of the BB and then let it dry overnight (in cereal bowl) before turning the BB over and glueing the bottom portion. When doing the bottom portion you can either leave the finger holes open or see below for filling instructions. Place in the Garden and enjoy the shimmering beauty you just created!! Optional Steps: If your BB is black and you prefer another color, simply use an outdoor spray paint to achieve the color of your choice. Spray the BB well and let dry throughly before you glue on any marbles. If you wish to cover the finger holes in the BB, use wood putty to fill them and let it completely dry before adhering the marbles to that area.
