Viridescent hostas are the ones that start one color in early spring and gradually change to green. THey may start white/cream or misty but by mid to late summer there is very little of the light color. This is perfectly normal for many hostas and they will emerge the following spring once again with the bright colors. Several forum members contributed to this list.
