I'll recommend Moondance for a white floribunda. It doesn't last a long time in the vase, but it has so many flowers that it is easy to go cut a new one every few days. It smells really good too. I didn't think Sunsprite made a good cut flower. It just doesn't have much of a stem. It does have a lovely bright yellow color and a strong lemony fragrance so I still like mine. I'm not certain mine lived through the winter but that might be where I have it planted. I won't know for sure until I prune though and that won't be for a few more weeks.

Depends how big your cannas are when you put them out. If you are planting rhizomes, you can't keep them soggy until they get some leaves on them or they'll rot. If the plants are already started, it probably would work fine, although I've never grown mimulus.

Thank you very much I james ! I have always loved watching them bloom so now I will have a reason to watch for the seed pods to cut! They will go out to the dried flower area today, making growing on space for other stuff!

Noseo, I’m impressed that you were able to get those roses to root, after petal drop in the vase! Rooting cuttings isn’t something I’ve mastered yet. Only my “not Louise Odier, probably Grandmothers Hat” has been successful. It must be an easy one, because every try has been successful. Thank you, Ingrid. It must be wonderful soil, it’s certainly not due to my doing anything special. I skipped yesterday’s picture, and today it’s “out with the old and in with the new” time. Alnwick held up far better than I expected. One last picture, then it’s going into the bin. Alnwick Day 7 That one bloom still looks pretty good, and I’ll have to remember how well that filler from Annie’s, Gomphrena decumbens, has held up! Lisa
