What are cannas?

A Canna Garden
Cannas (Cannaceae) are showy, tropical-looking plants with banana-like leaves that can be green, burgundy, and even variegated. The flowers come in many colors and flowering can continue until frost. Cannas range in size from 2 feet to over 15 ft, depending on the variety and the care given to them.

Hi Darlene, You could either have leafrollers or slugs or possibly both. I would spread a slug bait around and buy Sevin bug spray. Spray the top and bottom of the leaves it worked well for me last year. Or there are organic methods you can do a search for. Good Luck. Tara

Thanks to your pictures, amalgamation, I was on the lookout for Intrique and much to my surprise picked up a nice large gallon pot with three stalks on for clearout for $3.00. The plant was in amazing shape. It is now planted in my garden and I'm watering alot. Hopefully I'll see blooms soon and they'll be exactly like your pics.
