Evenshade I like that photo. When I was at the gateway to the Inca Trail I was practically on my knees taking pictures of the moss and tiny plants growing out of the cracks on the stone path. The same when I was walking on a Ozark Mountain behind my cousin's home, tiny plants everywhere.

Those are very unusual photos, caflower. I assume the oranges were frozen. Thanks for sharing the pictures. They often have to run fans (or something) in the Ojai area when it gets frosty. I remember when smudge pots were used; not sure if they do that anymore. I think it snowed as well back in the early 50's or maybe late 40's. (Referring to lower elevations where it "never" snows, not the mountains of course).

No snow here. Very mild temps this year. I miss the way it looks, but so happy not to have to shovel it!! :) In fact, my hibiscus brought in for the winter has flowered again!
