Vetaal, what kind of ornamental grass is that and how high and wide does it grow? I'd love to have that one in my garden!

Vetaal, I'm also interested in the gorgeous grass.....Very nice photos, as always......

2009 Iditarod rookie Nancy Yoshida ... unfortunately due to an accident early on in the race she had to scratch.

The day before the official start of the race I spent the day with her sponsor, mentor and 14 time Iditarod racer Vern Halter and had a chance to check out her packed sled up close.

About grass: never saw that kind in garden centers. It grows along sides the roads in june-july in the Southwest and Alaska. Probably in other places too :o)
Maybe 1-1.5' high in small clumps. It is not bulky at all.
I love the texture and coloring of it.
