Susan, that picture was taken July 9th of this year at about 10,500 feet in the Bighorn mountains of Wyoming.I've been out there numerous times and have never seen so much snow and ice as this year. Here in Minnesota we've had a cool Summer (the 2nd coolest July on record) apparently Wyoming was experiencing the same trend. Ron

A wildflower in northeastern San Luis Obispo County, CA.....taken years ago on a photography field trip. I scanned a bunch of slides yesterday and this is one of my favorites. Taken with a Roleiflex 35 mm non digital camera.

Wow, such beautiful and interesting photos today. Moni, an Eagle's nest always awes me. Alisandi, that cloud filled sky looks like Fall. Not yet, please! Bigack, that looks just like my Chicago Apache. Socks, I would go to Alaska if someone would gaurantee me a picture opportunity like that. Kathy's hummer and Dave's keen eyed bird would make a great pair to breed. Just think about what talents a combination of the two would come up with. Sharing dinner

Hanging Lake, Glenwood Springs. Our hike yesterday.....altho we spent the week in Glenwood and it was just gorgeous!
