Bigack, lol...yours and mine look pretty much the same. I often think that there is really only about 3 dozen different daylilies and we daylily lovers are sucker enough to buy the same ones over and over again just because it has a different name.

OK, here's mine, but in a different color. You can never have too many daylilies, IMHO.

Another day lily

Nicole, yes, the purple (and pink and lavender, etc.) stuff is phlox. Not all of it is visible in this picture. I dug up tons this spring, but still have too much. I do have white (David, yours too?), but most of it is invisible behind the sunflowers and across the road. The white clump in front of the sunflowers is actually Limelight, a paniculata hydrangea. It was new last year, but I have to move it this fall as it'll grow way too big for that spot.

Yesterday I posted a collage I did for my son last Christmas. Today is the one I did for my daughter.

This is a photo I took of her face superimposed over a shot of her bedroom highlighting some of her favorite things.

The Tang horse on the right is loved by both of us. I was so jealous when she bought it for a song at a thrift store.

She was broke last Christmas so she wrapped the horse up and gave it to me as my present.
I was thrilled but know how much she loves it so I wrapped it up and gave it to her for her birthday in May.
I got it back for my birthday in July.
I can see a new tradition in full swing. :-)

jodi....that is sooooooooooo pretty! I thought your sons pic was masculine...not commercial. :0) Your daughters is softer, more feminine.....lots of WOW! The tang horse tradition is really GREAT! I want one....if she finds another one for under $10 send it over....ok?.....:0)

Thanks for all the compliments on my house and yard! When people say it looks like a magazine cover, I tell them, "Don't turn the page!" That is, don't come inside. From spring through early fall, I'm quite the neglectful housekeeper. (I'm not all that great in winter either.) :-)
