This is a baby moose, that hangs out around I-80, between Haugan and Saltese, MT. The mother is never seen, so they figure she was killed crossing the freeway. The baby doesn't stray far from where I took this picture. It is probably waiting for her to come back, which I think is so sad.

Vannie, those look like caladium to me. But Nita, were those at your parents home in Florida? Or can you grow them in Arizona? I wanted to plant some this year, but never got around to buying them.

In case you're tired of my vacation pictures, here's something different. A Bouganvilla on my junk trellis.

Lydia, that is gorgeous! I didn't think it would grow here! (Here=this part of the country.) Does it come back every year?

I have no idea what kind of plant it is. I saw it in Hawaii and thought it was pretty so I took a picture.

Okwriter - the picture is kind of deceptive, it is in a pot. The Bouganvilla won't come back yearly here. I'm hoping I can cut it back and bring it in for the winter, then put it back out next year.

Rita, I've grown Bouganvilla here in north Mississippi, but only as an annual. They are so beautiful. I wish they would come back every year here because they are too expensive for an annual.

Nita your plant is a variegated Mahoe aka Sea Hibiscus. They have beautiful flowers. They grow well in FL.
