Nicole, which one is it? I love the Austins, but it's too cold for them here, and they either stay very small or disappear entirely. The one exception was Gertrude Jekyll, which was huge and gorgeous in my garden for 20+ years. Right now I have Abraham Darby and Sharifa Asma blooming, but they're the only Austins left.

I didn't take this picture. Our friend, Tom, took it a couple days ago on his trip up to Yellowstone where he works for the Summer. He wrote this about his experience taking the picture I am posting. "Antelope Canyon is one of the slot canyons that you see photos of in Arizona Highways magazine. In most of those shots you see the sun rays focusing downward with those beautiful red sandstone walls in the back and foregrounds. What you don't see is Navajo tour guides in the background throwing spades full of sand in the air so the sun has something to reflect off of. It was very comical hearing them asking photographers if they had thrown enough sand and them responding, "Just throw one more shovel full.""

Well, you're in luck Jasdip, I took 3,500 photos during my recent Panama Canal cruise. :-) Unfortunately it's going to take a while to go through them because I only have enough room on my hard drive for one port at a time. Ok people! There are so many pretty flower pictures I can't make up my mind which one to put on my desktop today!LOL I have Ron's butterfly from the other day ( I really love butterflies.One of my favorite subjects to paint.) and though I'd do another one but I really like the rose and I really,really like Casey's flowers and Bigack's wall and,and!LOL DGD asked me yesterday why I changed my desktop picture so much.LOL I told her, "Because I can!"
Think I'm going to do another one of Ron's butterflies.Keep em coming Ron!

No mashed potatoes Socks......... but Gravy's Mama was named Biscuit. We lost Biscuit in 1998.....she would have been 18 years old. Gravy is the most mellow, loving cat I have ever known. Shes a doll baby..and she is 19 years old..and not feeling too well right now. Vet said its just "old age" and theres not much we can do about it. She still chases her mouse and plays...just not quite as often.....Daisy is a beautiful ginger cat....

Your so right lilliepad! Exactly, I change it because I can, but then I wonder when I do change it "what happens to the old one?" Is it hiding somewhere in my computer eating away......? opinions...
