Nicole, which one is it? I love the Austins, but it's too cold for them here, and they either stay very small or disappear entirely. The one exception was Gertrude Jekyll, which was huge and gorgeous in my garden for 20+ years. Right now I have Abraham Darby and Sharifa Asma blooming, but they're the only Austins left.

I didn't take this picture. Our friend, Tom, took it a couple days ago on his trip up to Yellowstone where he works for the Summer. He wrote this about his experience taking the picture I am posting. "Antelope Canyon is one of the slot canyons that you see photos of in Arizona Highways magazine. In most of those shots you see the sun rays focusing downward with those beautiful red sandstone walls in the back and foregrounds. What you don't see is Navajo tour guides in the background throwing spades full of sand in the air so the sun has something to reflect off of. It was very comical hearing them asking photographers if they had thrown enough sand and them responding, "Just throw one more shovel full.""

That's exactly why I posted that one Susan. :-) Casey, your photo wouldn't come up when I posted my photo. Now that I can finally see it, it is awesome ... definitely worth the wait. :-) I would love to spend some time playing with lighting and such. Have you seen the Strobist web site? They are currently offering a free lighting "boot camp". Every couple weeks there is an assignment. I can't participate because I can't hook a strobe up to my camera but one day I will move up to and SLR and really get serious about photography.
