Yesterday we made the 100 mile journey to the cemetery where our beloved daughter and her beloved dog's ashes are interred. It is the most beautiful and cared for cemetery I have even seen. The perfect place to be laid to rest.

It is a beautiful cemetery.

Oh my Gazania, I was just thinking about your DD yesterday! So nice to see the beautiful area where she was laid to rest.

Jodi-

The lilacs were in bloom!

Jodi, how nice of you to think of her.

This is a city owned cemetery maintained by city workers. It is a small city, about 50,000 people. The cemetery covers, I would guess, about 28 acres.

jimdandy, the lilacs are done blooming here. That lilac color and most of the other blooming shrubs are either rhododendron or azealia

Gazania, I didn't know you had lost your daughter. I'm so sorry for your loss. She is, indeed, in a most beautiful place.

Casey, the colors in your picture are just breathtaking! I love it!! It is a gorgeous, gorgeous picture.
