I would go with a Panache if you want something unique and different taste. Fig trees will grow very quickly, and panache is a fast grower. If you get it in 5 gallon that is a good size. Keep in mind if you growing them in barrels, that you'll need to re pot them every couple years once the roots fill the pots.

thanks guys. I will post some pictures as soon as we get the last of it planted. I am not going to plant this weekend tho, have company for the weekend for Mothers Day. But by next weekend, I hope to have the remainder in the ground. I have several things to take pictures of when I am done. We are about 90 percent done with a "shade house" that we built out of pallets with a potting bench in it. All thats left is the roof panels but we need a day with no wind to get them home with no broken pieces cuz they are 12 foot long. I have been using the potting bench like crazy already..I am in love with it! I put in a new bed last fall also and it is flourishing, I did not take or post pictures last fall, but I will do so in the next week or two with the other stuff. Thanks for all the great comments and the inspiration this places provides. Love reading posts and looking at the pictures you post.

I don't get it either. I see the Ahh Bra all the time on tv. I think it's interesting that they don't show how the bra looks UNDER shirts too often. I also think they look like a bra when they stick out under shirts.

Also, another thought... Our fridge has instructions for three installations: panels flush with carcass, panels flush with door w/ 90 degree opening, and panels flush with door w/full opening. We had planned to do flush with carcass, but with 26" panels we're almost at the depth needed for hiding the whole fridge (26.5"). 90 degree door opening needs a cabinet opening of 32 7/8"; full door opening needs a width of 37 7/8". We have 36.5" (we built to accommodate a standard 36" fridge). If we push the fridge all the way back (in which case we could keep the 26" panels and it would just hide the fridge entirely) that means we'd likely have a door opening somewhere between 90 degrees and full...worth it to do it that way? (I'm sure there's some geometry that would tell me exactly how far we'd be able to open the door...)
