Frozen water on the hood of your truck?

Looks more like one of the icey moons of Jupiter. Do a negative of it and see what it looks like.

Not Mars. Mars is red. Must be Venus,Venus is blue.My guess is a puddle of melting snow on something blue. Car or truck?

awm : thank you for the sweet and supportive wishes. I sure hope your ride goes well. Two of the folks I am with have done that ride and loved it. We are indeed fortunate in the support we get from our families. tina thank you too. I will keep up the updates as it helps to clarify things in my head too :). I am glad you are enjoying it. golddust. we had flashing lights but it was just a miserable set of circumstances....hopefully not to be repeated. Glad you like my TALL tales. Sue yes it never has stormed today but we have had a fine time. We walked several miles to go to a Dollar Store and to stretch our legs. Time for a nap I think. Your trip sounds wonderful. I bet you will always cherish that time as will I this trip. Most likely won't do another as I don't want to leave DH this long again but this one time it is good. More later. c

Update time. Hello, I alternated between rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. I applied a small amount to a cotton puffball and dabbed carefully on the stain. It has improved greatly. I still have water marks and some staining I assume from the vinegar or vinegar/baking soda combo or Dawn.

IMO, if the painter is "exclusive to SW", it's because he saves his $$$ by buying their cheap contractor grade paint. It only needs to look good until he's cashed his check and is long gone! I only want a painter that will use my choice of paint, unless they're recommending one even better! My preference for walls & ceilings is Benjamin Moore, but even they have "contractor grade". Learn to read the TDS sheet for any and all products (primer, paint, clear coats, etc.). It has great information, especially on the sheen, as that varies alot. "Satin" can range from almost matte to almost semi-gloss in different brands and/or grades of paint. The TDS sheet lists the gloss in terms of degrees in addition to "flat, matte, satin, etc.". If your build is $1.5 mil, what level of finish will your drywall be? If you're paying for Level 4 or 5, don't cheap out on the primer or the paint. (And yes, the quality of primer is also important!!)

I can't fool you eagle eyes. Puddled dew that froze on the car and was reflecting the early rays slanting in from the morning sun.

I needed my other camera that would take closer macros, then you'd have never got it. ;)

Its funny, that's kind of the same mood I thought of with it. The glow I happened to catch from the morning sun backlighting it kind of makes it seem upbeat somehow.

The hardness and dark contrasts in the other one kind of seem the opposite to me. Mean, harsh, foreboding maybe. Just as the world of the pics go. Of course, when you think of them being shots off a car... kind of spoils buying in so much. ;)
