The hosta are starting to come thru the ground, this is from last year.

Planted a nasturtium in a peat pellet just to see how it would grow in the house.Woke up this morning and there was a bloom. It was the only flowers my mother had in her garden so it felt good to see it this morning...like my mom came for a visit. she died 43 yrs ago.

How sweet, Clair. Little things like that can lift the spirits.

clair, where did you get the nasturtiums in a peat pellet? I love them, and never have any luck growing them. I'd like to try them again. They say they thrive on neglect, so maybe I've babied them to death.

I bought the seeds and planted in peat pellet. It's much too early to put outside here but it was just a trial.
