These are starting to grow a little. I'm wishing it would warm up soon. All week it is to drop to 30° or below at night. Come on Spring.

This little guy hung around our back yard last year for quite a while.

Peggy Sue was playing with my plant so I set it outside and she hopped into the saucer.

Hi Jodi, I was lucky enough to ride on the coaster before its demise. It was a noisy, creaky, scary old wooden coaster. What I remember most is that the overhead cross beams looked so low, it seemed like your head would hit them. It also seemed like a very long ride. If I remember, it cost a quarter to ride it. Thanks for the reminder of it. I appreciate the Long Beach photos. I'm near Pomona now, and rarely get over there. It sure has changed. Linda

Linda, my DH was in the Navy and stationed in Long Beach in the early 70s. We spent some time at the Pike but I'm positive I never set foot anywhere near a Cyclone car. Colossus at Magic Mountain about killed me from fright when I was 23 years old.
