So happy to not see SNOW, ICE, and COLD stuff.... however, I sort of drew a blank when it comes to anything Irish, until I thought of this:

This is the first Sciathog I ever made... it's an Irish potato straining basket. Allegedly, boiled potatoes can be strained through this basket and then served directly to the table in it. This is made with white (peeled), buff (boiled and peeled), steamed (w/ peel on), and regular (unpeeled/unprocessed) willow. I loved working with willow so much that I started growing my own for basket making. :)

Well, you guys, I love your pictures!!! Party, that is a fantastic talent you have there. And Casey, that is so beautifully put together and gorgeously photographed!! You both do great work!!

I just have a picture of a street in Dublin. I was thinking I didn't have any "irish" pictures when I remembered I went to Ireland!! LOL So just a Dublin street picture from me today.

A 4 leaf clover .....sort of....lol

I been to Ireland a couple of times, but the pictures are not digital, so instead I'll follow nicole's lead and post a picture of an actual four leaf clover. I have a knack for spotting them and have found several hundreds of them in my life. For this one I was taking pictures at a horse show, looked down snapped this picture, and went back to shooting the show.

Really like your basket Party Music. The boiling and peeling sounds labor intensive. Now you're growing your own Willow, wow!! You're an artist.
