One of my favorite Mount Hood photos from a past vacation.

I plopped this ceramic owl on top of a bare container last fall. I got a surprise recently when I noticed what had happened. I wonder if that's a potato (I did recycle some kitchen scraps into the container.)

Ron, what is the name of that spiral begonia on the bottom right. The light green with purple. I had some two years ago, and couldn't find them last year. If I recall they're called a Rex begonia?

Leslie,that's a Rex Begonia called Escargot. The entire leaf is spiraled like a snail shell. They are hard to find. I tried to over winter mine but lost it. I hope I can find another this Spring.
