Went to Petit's website, and low and behold they are having a summer sale (*DON'T, REPEAT, DON'T LOOK!!!!). Then I think, "well, I don't really have enough of Ted's work in my garden... so maybe I should get some". LOL. Oh boy. Thankfully I contained myself and just got ONE from the BOGO sale, which *REALLY* means he will send me three! Aral Sea Royal Fringe Fleet Goddess YIPPEE!!! I think my first bloom was WHEEL OF TIME, which is weird, because it is registered as a mid, but anyway, that was on April 28th. But, I think it would be an outlier and mostly things started about May 11 -15. We had a lot of that same weather pattern, which was great - lots of rain and cool weather!

Hi Kids, I thought it was a good show last night. I was sad to see Dad and Son go. They did a good job of keeping it together and almost made it at the end. They were a good team, always nice to each other and respectful. I wish it had been a non-elim leg, but that was not the case. What was up with the Brothers? Why did they finish so far ahead of the other teams? Was it just beacuse they followed the cab? I would have been surprised if they had not gotten the penalties or at least one. Hiding the pump was a dirty trick, but did the other teams even know there was sapose to be a pump there? I think I missed that. Asking the cab driver to show them the way was a dumb move. Another case of a team not reading the directions? It was nice to Thailand again and Homemade is correct...the heat is unlike anything we have here. It's not just the high temps, but it's also the high humidity as well as the sun. Being closer to the equator, the sun is strong and hot. You need gills to breathe. Next week in Bangkok, away from the ocean, will be ever worse. I've been dehydrated in Bangkok. It's not fun and it happens fast. You need to drink lots and lots of water. It will be interesting to see how they handle the traffic and the smells of the city. Flamiey...you are right about the two girls and that poor man with all the drawers. They were so rude. No need to yell at the poor guy. Did you notice his wife...standing at the end of the counter...laughing at them? We're getting down to the last few teams...who will make it to the end? I think they are going to work and I like them. I would get rid of the blue pillows from the sofa and try to get something else that combines the blue with the other colors. I can see that the chairs might fit in better if the wood was darker. One thing about vintage style, if that's where you might be going, is that it gets better the more you add to it in terms of other colors and styles. In the beginning it can look a bit disjointed because it isn't "full" yet. Ralph Lauren does it best, and the link from Bellaflora is a great one. The more you look, the more colors and odd styles you see him combine. He's a master at that. I get a lot of inspiration from his site. I have lusted after this wood Pottery Barn flag for years. (Link below.) I think it might be perfect over your sofa or fireplace. It's quite large---50" x 27" I think. ps. I would straighten the rug too. It seems off.
