Disappointed!

I loved the reunion show for a change. Usually I don't care for them. I don't care for the overall winner, but love the $100,000 "favorite."

And then, can you believe what happened to Denise when she got back home!!! Good for Mark Burnett! I'm tempted to see if I can look up where she's from and write a letter to that school district.

I'm already looking forward to the next Survivor, in February.

I'm glad for the fan favourite winning the $100,00.00, and it was nice what Mark Burnett did.

I like the girls without all of that makeup. I don't care for the winner, but if you can get it, you deserve it.

I suspect Denise will end up in a better position. She was very likeable out there and a hard worker. She will be making more than $7 an hour.

My gosh. Can you believe the change in Courtney. She doesn't look like the same person. At first I thought... I don't remember her and then it dawned on me who she was.

Didn't like the result. Didn't recognize Courtney either. I like the winner of the 100,000.

I'm PI$$ED! I got drop in company, but I ran into the Den and saw the Big Winner. I don't know how it all happened or what happened afterwards.

Courtney must have gained 20 pounds since she left the island. I didn't recognize her either.

I was disappointed that Todd won, but really don't know who i wanted to win it, since James wasnt among the 3, but im really happy, that James won 100,000 though, he is such a nice guy. I felt sorry for Denise, but that was sure nice they gave her 50,000

Doesn't the 4th place winner get $50,000 anyway? I wonder if they just made that public or is she getting an extra $50K? I'm glad though, I think the school where she works will get enough bad publicity from this and be forced to give her her old job back. Surely the "fame" that is causing her problems will die off now.

When the jury was asking their questions, Amanda blew it and Todd soared into the lead. I looked at Woody and said "Todd's going to win this" and he agreed. "Doe-eyes" was right, Amanda didn't work it to win in the jury's eyes, she would have done better to take Denise to the final three with her, she MIGHT have gotten more than 1 vote. Todd played the better game, he is a slippery little sucker. I just hate his hair, though. And the long sideburns, ugh. He's like a cheap Elvis impersonater. lol

Amazing what eye makeup can do for Courtney. I barely recognized her. She really wasn't pretending to be anything she wasn't though, she was rude on the show every Thursday and she was REALLY rude last night. Did you see her flip Jeff off when he took her to task for saying such rude things about Denise? She had her fingers to her mouth and dropped all of them but the middle one. Man, I can't believe they showed that, he'll be PO'd when he watches that rerun! Actually, though- I think she amuses him, he'll probably laugh.

I was happy with the outcome although none were my original favorites to win.

I cannot not stand Amanda. She's far too much in denial about how she back-stabbed to get ahead. I get the impression she's a back-stabber in real life away from the game also. The "I'm not like the other players" was really getting old.

At least Courtney is who she is. I wouldn't have liked to see her win either because she really didn't do much of anything to stay in the game. They just sort of kept her in. Rather have her win than Amanda though.

Todd played well from the start and he's right. It's a game. JR was smart enough to get that. Good for him.

I was rooting for Lunchlady right up until the time she played the pity card. She should of plead her case for being chosen to stay in the alliance as someone who the youngsters wouldn't vote for. Instead she brought to the fore the fear that she might get sympathy votes. It's not the "Queen For The Day Show". It's Survivor.

When DH and I sat down to watch it, he said, "Blondie is going to win it all." When the jury questioned them, I thought he was right. Even though I couldn't stand the bony little twit, she made a compelling argument for why she should win the money. So did Todd, though, and I couldn't stand him either. Todd was sly right up to the end, playing JR for a fool (read: sucking up), and it worked for him! I was pulling for Amanda until the Q/A with the jury, at which point I didn't like her, either!

I was glad about James and Denise. I didn't feel like she played a "pity card" - I think she was just stating the facts, and you could tell her words came from her heart. I felt especially bad for her when she talked about the time she is missing with her family because of her job situation.

Sorry, but apparently she's not not quite the poor little lunchlady without employable skills who has to clean floors she presented herself to be.

Thanks for letting me know who won. Our cable went out at 3am on Sunday (yes my daughter was still up) and didn't come back on until after midnight this morning. So I missed the finale..I was ticked!!

I was a little dissapointed because I did not care for Todd, however he really did play the game the best. I was very surprised at Courtney in the end, she is not the dumb blonde I thought she was. I really wanted Amanda to win, she also played a good game. I never cared for Denise, don't know what anyone sees in her, she really did not play well and always had that sob story. It's nice that James won the $100,000 he seems like a nice guy although he is not the brightest bulb. Next to Amanda, I liked Erik. I really liked this survivor, thought it was one of the better ones....loved the scenes of China, now I want to go there.

I liked the outcome. I was a Todd fan from day 1. I told SO he would win. Sure he lied and backstabbed or maybe he outwitted and outplayed. I think he did all of the above without being really mean. I think he was honest about how any bonds he had formed were real and true. Never forget it is a game and the stakes are very high. He played the game to the very end when he pulled JR back into his web and got his vote-a vote that JR had said earlier in the game Todd would never get. Hats off to Todd for truly playing the game.
Courtney on the other hand didn't do anything but complain and bad mouth people the whole time. She did nothing witty the whole time she was there. I was just really happy that she didn't win.
I think Denise made a huge mistake by not teaming up with PG and Erik. I mean in that alliance she would have been at least in the top 3. Why did she ever think for a minute that Todd, Courtney, and Amanda would let her be anything but 4th place. Big mistake Denise.
Big mistake on James' part for not using the immunity idol-maybe the biggest mistake in Survivor history. It would have been a totally different game if he had used them.
Looking forward to the next season as always.

So many shoulda, woulda, coulda's on this season! I was very disappointed that Todd stayed on as long as he did, and then to win......I wonder what would have happened had Amanda and Courtney voted with Denise.

Todd is a snake, I would not trust him any further than I could see him, and even then I'm not sure I would do so.
