I wan't to apologize for getting someone's thread pulled.

I was in a p$$y mood, and I went off on someones thread about cars running on compressed air. I'm so very very very sorry. I wasn't thinking. (not doing much of that these days. lol) I don't even remember the poster's name.

I came back to apologize on that thread, and it's not here anymore. I'm sure it was pulled because of me. I'm sorry

Please accept my apology.

I don't know what you or the poster said, but isn't this why we have Free Speech? We do not have to agree with people.
Unless you got out of line by horriblr swearing, you should be able to say what you think- that is why we live in USA!
Your apology to the person is heartfelt, though.

If you think there is a thread caught up in the case, of course you can take it out and see if you can remove, if you feel uncomfortable, take your time, get a piece of paper and draw exactly how the case and bobbin look . That way you can figure out how to work on it. If you are a new sewer, take time to go to google and search for how to, topics like threading, cleaning,stitches, most any question is handled by many machine companies, if you still have trouble, write another post, but put the name of the machine, and if it is old or new, someone will probably have one like it, or know how to help, enjoy, don't get nervous Rene

Sometimes threads come back after the mods have reviewed them and determined that they don't break any of the Houzz rules/terms. Let's hope that's the case here. I had not commented on the thread, but I was enjoying reading the very civil and thoughtful (IMO) discussion. ETA: Annie, I often read over at HT, but the topics always seem to end up with name calling and hurling insults making a fruitful discussion pretty much impossible. Whether it's IRL or online, at the first sign of that kind of behavior, I tune out as I figure people who do that don't have much of value to say.

I used to have two different accounts because I was a GardenWeb member before Houzz took over, and I joined Houzz before it took over GW. My Houzz account was my professional account that I used at work. I had to join Houzz in order to view photos of furniture, and that's the only reason I joined. Then when Houzz unexpectedly took over GW, I suddenly had two Houzz accounts. I only used my professional account at work, and I have not used it since I have retired.

I agree.

Bad news attracts the attention of broadcasters, hungry as they are for news, especially these dys, with the proliferation of channels, and the fragmentation of the audience/viewer population, with a reduced number for each.

And they like to report on controvdersy ... the more difficult, the better.

But the media sure are prissy about having controversy in their own backyard.

Wasn't it cretive thinking, and the disagreements that brought improvement to the discovered stuff, that made your country great, long years ago?

Now, with the concentration that has accurred in the media, they like to keep everything genteel ... and not controversial.

Don't muddy the water in our backyard natural pool, please!

I think a "for sale" post may have gotten pulled,because I can't find it...I thought maybe it was that one you were talking about.
