Look at the CUTE fondue pot I found!

Click the link to see what I ordered just now from Amazon. I'll give it to the office of girls with some chocolate (the kind you use in a fountain) that I mentioned in my other post.

Is this cute or what?! I'm paying twice what it costs just to get it here quick. DUH on me for being a last-minute Lucy.

What To Do With Three Fondue Pot Sets?

oohh. Love those. I like the orange. It is the new 'black' in NYC right now, haha. My kitchen is void of color except for seasonal changes...just got some orange towels. Never had a fondue pot but made my own version out of an italian expresso coffee can for BagnaCauda...a big hit at my holiday party. Keeping it warm is important as the dip is much thinner and slips right off the veggies for just the right amount of flavor...Having three warm dipping choices would be so cool. I'm jealous of your score. I've only made the traditional one with olive oil but this one with cream looks good... (The sterno things are safe. It is basically a denatured alcohol that is gelled. Burns very clean. Much cleaner than a candle.) Here is a link that might be useful: BagnaCauda

Well, If you are making a "fondue" with velveeta and canned soup....Wonder bread is likely a fine choice LOL!...but if you are making a real fondue with real cheese and wine to go with your very expensive lobster tail, cubes of French or Italian bread are used. I can't imagine spending $10 or more on lobster and not making the best sauce for it you can. However...if you are using a can of shrimp and surimi crab...... Linda C

How about this classic Italian "warm bath"? BAGNA CAUDA (3 oz) Jar Anchovy Fillets 1/2 Cup Milk 35 Medium Garlic Cloves, Smashed And Peeled 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter 1/2 Cup Olive Oil Raw Cleaned Vegetables For Dipping Place the anchovies in a bowl with the milk and let sit for an hour. Drain and pat dry. To heat in a microwave oven, place the butter, oil and garlic in a glass or ceramic casserole dish. Add the anchovies to this mixture, cover with plastic and cook on high for 6 minutes. Uncover carefully and blend in a blender or food processor until smooth. To serve for a party, place in a small chafing dish or fondue pot and offer a selection of fresh, raw vegetables and chunks of crusty bread.

Are you looking for a cheese fondue? Chocolate? or meat and shellfish cooked in oil?...or perhaps broth? And by fondue do you also mean melted nacho cheese dip? Linda C

That is cute. I just spotted one in a local ad for the same price. It is the silver one. They also show a singing Hershey's candy dish for the same price!

That is cute. And although I understand you want to be sure to get those in time, I've ordered most of my gifts online using just standard shipping, and everything has arrived almost as soon as I hit the 'confirm order' button. The postal services have been doing a great job. I can't believe how quickly things have been getting here.
