I did all of the above. While a couple of old sites came up in a search, most of them were still missing. The trouble is that AOL uses IE but also has its own system, which is different. I am able to pull up the IE favorites but not the AOL favorites (which is most of my bookmarked sites). Then I read through all of the tutorials in the AOL Help section that pertain to Favorites. It says that they now use a system that does not save your favorites on your computer. Here is the exact language: Determine if 'Only Store my Favorite Places on my Computer' Is Checked. If it is not checked, it means your Favorite Places are saved online. AOL appreciates your patience during times when popular features may temporarily be unavailable. The AOL® System is sometimes very busy and may experience temporary issues that can lead to delays or slow response. Note: With AOL® 8.0 and higher versions, your Favorite Places are now stored on AOL® servers rather than on your computer. This allows you to access your Favorite Places from any location or computer that you use. For example, if you sign on as a guest on another computer, you will automatically have access to your Favorite Places. Or, if you buy a new computer, you won't have to worry about how to transfer your Favorite Places. I still can't find my Favorites :( I will have to contact AOL again and see if they're stored somewhere in their cybervault.

Try again and email it to yourself. Also, you select "email this post" in the post you want to send. (if I told you a joke or posted a picture here, you would select 'email' in my post to send.) By sending it to yourself, you can select the addresses from your address book and eliminate the chance of a typing error in the address.

I'd agree that it probably is related to the internet connection, but I won't rush to blame the ISP just yet. It could be what I call a "dirty" connection. Essentially static on the phone line. Has this just started since moving to the new apartment? If so, I'd try a couple things. First, try a different phone jack. Then try a different phone cord. Do you have any noticeable static on your telephone? If so, that's probably it. If not, it could still be an issue, just not enough that you could hear. Another thing to try is to go to another phone jack. Do you have a community room with a phone jack available to try? Phone cords and phone jacks can get corroded, or the tiny wires in there get bent or otherwise damaged. If you don't have another phone cord handy, you could even try switching it around, that is the end that's plugged into the wall - plug that into the computer and vice versa. Another thing to try is unplug all other phones, answering machine, etc and try it. There could be an issue caused by one of them, although I' more apt to think it's related to the phone jack and line in the apartment. Another possibility, is there an alternate dial up number to try? Sometimes that makes a big difference.

With organic, people think it's just the way the cotton is grown. That is part of it but a small part. The biggest issue for sheets is in the dyeing and finishing. That's where all the chemicals are used. Some sheets actually also have a chemical coating to make them feel smoother. A lot of the finishing chemicals get washed out when sheets are laundered before use. Some wash out over time. Others are used in treating the cotton fibers. So if you're going organic, and it says "100% organic cotton" that's one thing. But the sheeting itself would need to be milled in a global certified mill. "Unless sheeting is GOTS certified (I just bought some towels which are) I wouldn't pay extra for organic. Coyuchi's towels are GOTS certified, but not the sheets. But they are specialists. So if you dislike sateen, and want percale, I wouldn't go there. As we know, thread count can be tricky as there are no standards and no verification. IOW it's basically marketing. I did a lot of research on sheet quality and it is all provided by retailers who are not buying from the mill. Also little information as there are no U.S. owned mills that produced sheeting any longer. It's all done overseas. I know that using a flat sheet as a bottom sheet appears to be returning. Of course, hotels do that and I just cannot stand it as the sheets work loose and bunch up. I would measure my mattress and buy bottom sheets that fit. And when replacing a mattress be sure it doesn't create problems.
