No bakes are soooo good! There are tons of different ways to make them. I bet everyone has a different recipe.
This is the way I do mine

No Bake Cookies
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 lb butter (this is 1/2 cup)
3 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
May add coconut or nuts if desired
Stir cocoa and sugar in saucepan. Add milk and butter, stirring occasionally, bring to boil over medium heat and boil exactly 2 minutes. Take off heat. Add the oatmeal and vanilla. Drop by spoon onto waxed paper and let set up.

Here is another

Haystacks
1 6oz pkg butterscotch chips
1 6 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 5 oz can chow mein noodles
1/2 cup peanuts or nuts
Mix first three ingredients and melt over low heat, ad rest of ingredients and drop by spoonful on wax paper.

I got this one from my cousin and it is really good.

No name for it..

9 square white almond bark
2 to 2 1/2 cups crushed potato chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Melt the almond bark in microwave, stir and check 2 minutes if melted. Stir in chips and pecans.
Drop by spoonfuls on to wax paper and cool.

Pattico ~ I made some of those a week and a half ago to take to work. They are lucious. I've also used pretzels and Spanish peanuts.

Connie ~ I think you and I have the same recipe. I have my recipe card out to make some of them this week for company we are having this weekend. I hope I don't eat all of them before then.

Ritz-type crackers made into sandwiches with peanut butter, then dipped in melted chocolate almond bark. Or mint flavored frosting instead of peanut butter. Tastes like my favorite Girl Scout cookies.

I just made no bakes today! I wonder if they will keep until Christmas Eve? Maybe we should just eat these and make a fresh batch closer to Christmas. What do you think?

Oh, absolutely, Dee -- there is no way the no bakes would still be fresh on Christmas Eve. You owe it to your family and guests to eat those now and make a fresh batch next week.
