(Belated) Happy Birthday! Never too late to wish someone a great COMING year. Hope you had a lovely day. Get any interesting gifts? My DH just got his gifts and a cake from our DS and DGS yesterday -- his birthday was end of July.

Hope you have a really enjoyable birthday, Monica. On CBC Radio last night they repeated an interview from several years ago of a Japanese man that survived the Hiroshima bomb ... then got on a train to Nagasaki and, as he was telling his boss about the first one, and the boss was telling him that he was full of it, that such was impossible ... ... the second went off. He was said to be the only person that they know of who survived both. Good wishes for the year ahead, as well, Monica - that seems to become of more importance as the years go by. ole joyful

Thanks, everyone. It's been a good day. Foxy's Dr called...and her thyroid is normal now ! Her surgery was a complete success. And...sshhhh. Someone is interested in buying my house. Word of mouth - they called me. I don't even have it listed yet, showing it to them on Friday ... keep your fingers crossed!
