'Off With Their Heads!' Survivor, tonite!

Gonna be cold outside, so I'm in for the rest of the day.

Thursday is always a good tv nite for me.

We went ahead and BBQ the ribs last night. All I need to do is put together the salad, and stick the bakers in the oven, warm up some beans.
Can't wait to see it!!

I got really angry at how Brett was treated all the way around. The man is living with a disease that nearly killed him he lives with it daily but Trump and Piers can not understand why he would go back. He wants a cure for the disease he and many of us have and his daughter will probably have. He wants to get as much money for research as possible during his life time. How is that hard to understand. What he was doing could actually save his own life some day. If only those people had to live a few days with the disease and see the future with that disease. Huge strides have been made through research. I do hope that someday there will be a cure for it and I too hope it is in my lifetime! He was treated so so badly. Omabyotch is the nastiest vile human being to step on this earth I think she is the spawn of Satan! It would not surprise me at all if a chunk of that cash disappeared on her watch not one bit. And I can not believe a show like that does not have someone right there watching that money and counting it!! Things like that kind of discrepancy should never happen. You could tell she was messing with Brett's numbers when his people were coming in and he saw her doing it. He should have spoken up about what he saw. He was nice enough to choose her, which was his first huge mistake, and then she does that to him. I think Rodman was getting a clear picture though of who she really is and why she is so hated. The Project manager was completely in lala land she had no clue and even after Piers and Trump and Brett told her what was going to happen and how OM was she had that smirk like she knew better and no one would do that to her. HA! Just wait that knife will be deep in her back very very soon. I LOVE TRACE period. I do wish I could see the show down between Trace and Baldwin, oh it will happen! Trace was not happy at all. I was surprised Busey was much more controlled this time lol Loved the tour he gave Piers!

I didn't have a problem with the way Russell plays so much. It's always been how my dh has said he would play the game. Russell does have a legitimate strategy. However, the one thing he hasn't realized yet is that at the final tribal council, he has to get votes in order to win. I think he has offended too many people along the way to win. I don't like Russell personality wise because of his sore loser attitude after last season's game. He thinks he just got a bad jury last season, but he didn't. The jury doesn't have a set of rules they are required to use to vote. Strategically, he has had some brilliant plays, but he also hacked off anyone able to vote for him along the way. If they hate him too much to vote for him, then he legitimately loses. I don't think Russell's looks are really what is holding him back. I believe that good looking people who do bad things in real life are sometimes hated more than ordinary people. Russell's strike against him is that he actually looks like a troll so he is easy to categorize when people want to make fun of him. Rupert isn't physically attractive either. His first move was one that everyone loved so no one made fun of him. He was considered the lovable giant.

I am heading off to bed, but I did watch the show just now. I enjoyed it. The striking scene was, of course, of the mother who had lost her son determining to sit vigil for the lone survivor, a little girl, till her family came. I find it believeable for one family to do such a kind and caring act, but I found it too scriptish that several families would stay, and that their "secret" did not come out from personnel coming in and saying something or the press. Derek's going off without Meredith to camp at the house site seemed silly on his part to me. And Meredith seemed like a good mommy already. It will be interesting how they use April, the new chief resident. One of my favorite characters is Bailey, and I was impressed with the steps she took to protect her son. My other favorite is Christina, and she was true to form tonight.

We've been huge Survivor fans from the beginning, but I think this has been one of the best seasons ever! Quite a cast of characters!

Adella, we couldn't understand the words, either. DH even backed up the program so we could listen to it again, but it didn't help much. I think I understood maybe every 20th word.

I wish I had paid better attention to the show. Now I'm wondering if Russ really has the immunity. I don't even know if he used it at the end or kept it, thinking he wasn't in danger of being voted out. And when I saw the guy voted out, I wasn't sure the Survivor film crew had done much coverage of that. I probably missed it. All my fault for not paying attention. On top of all of that,,NOW I WANT TO KNOW what the great happening is that Judy is talking about.

Russell has the idol now. For the third time. He's used it twice before, and it's been re-hidden each time. Like a pig sniffing out a truffle, I swear!

For a while I was a fan of Shambo, but not after last night. I would have loved to have seen the finished chicken dish she was preparing, boiling a chicken for 2 hours is insane. I'm glad Dave spoke up. This was one night that her clarvoyant dream did come true lol

I love watching their facial expressions at tribal council...priceless!

Are the producers going to be able to top this crew for next season?? I think it'll take a LOT of work to do so..LOL

I would like to have seen the reaction to the chicken boiling, too. It must have been alright, or they may have shown it. Shambo had PMS alright!

I used to be a Shambo fan as well, but she really is proving to be a very odd duck, a clueless one at that. I just don't believe that Russell is finding those idols on his own, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes we don't see.

This is a great season, I can't wait to see the wrap up show this year, the comments will be great!

Each week, I wait patiently for Thursday night and Survivor and would you believe, I fell asleep right before the vote.....I had to call my daughter to find out who was voted off...But I will watch it on line just to see the expressions.....I still can't believe I did that....

But, as said, this has been a darn good season...And I also think, Russell is a plant and gets help with finding those darn things.....

I just now watched this episode on my computer. LOL Shambo. she is a hoot! lol It WAS pretty funny! I don't like the guy that Shambo wanted to vote off. I don't like him!
