When Ang? Prices vary according to the time of the visit. In answer to the shuttles, no. Miami is a long haul from Key West, plan on about 4 hours. Are you planning on renting a car?

Will be April 23rd through the 30th. We'll have a car, but were *thinking* about dropping if off early to save some money, if there was a shuttle from the hotel. Right now I�ve got the travel agent checking out flying home from Palm Beach instead of Miami. I know it�s about an hour longer, but Mom said it may be less expensive and it wouldn�t be as much of the airport hassle as Miami. We�d leave The Keys the day earlier and stay at Mom�s the night before our flight if we leave from Palm Beach.

Well, we're booked leaving from Miami. We'll keep the car and head up the coast the day before our flight. Still need recommendations for hotels/motels from people that have actually stayed there. Have come across some nightmare rooms over the years, just looking blindly on the internet. LOL

Check TripAdvisor. I've always had very good luck with them.

It's been ages since we've been there, so I can't recommend lodging, but I am glad to hear that you are keeping the car.

The only time we've stayed there (we usually stay around Marathon) we rented a condo. It was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, washer/dryer and underground parking on the water and had a balcony that had access from every room. All water views and spectacular. So neat--I found it on the internet and it was owned by a dentist in Colorado who was going to list it with a property manager the next week. Got it for $900 for the week. Sheer luck though, since it was the end of January. But you could give it a shot!
