I really disliked Russell at the beginning but he has grown on me. I think he does deserve to win because he has outwitted almost everyone.

Thanks for the heads up. I was online a little while ago to see what Christmas program I might want to watch to night. Couldn't believe I'd forgotten about Survivor!!!!

Boohoo...our DishNetwork satellite was knocked out by the storm, so I have no television until Tuesday. I will probably have lost my mind by then. I sure hope they have Survivor on the internet....

Russell, Russell!!! He's such a squirel. lol, I don't know why he amuses me so. He plays really well and then he opens his mouth to someone. I hope he wins because he's a great player. The ads say he's evil, chhhhhhee. He's an angel compaired to Johnny Fairplay or what ever his name was.

Ditto to what Toni just said! He might not be the suavest guy out there (OK, he's not even in the running for that) but he has played a great game, I hope he makes it to the final.

Can't wait to see how everyone cleans up for the reunion show.

Let's start a pool- does Shambo still have the mullet or not? I'm gonna say- no mullet. Golly, I hope she has no mullet! lol

And- Did Russell get that tooth fixed? I doubt it, but I hope so.

Wanda, not sure if this will help, they have it set up for the finale and the reunion show..but those "videos" of course aren't up yet. Don't know if they will played "live" or not tonight..

I was very disappointed in the jury and thought they let their bitterness take hold of their brains. Russell deserved to win and everyone else knew it, too. I cannot BELIEVE they voted for Natalie over him.

I will give him huge points for being as gracious as he was last night, that looked like the biggest upset I'd ever seen, vote-wise. And when they showed some of the previews for the next one, it sure looks like he'll have another shot at it, and this time the jury will be made up of experienced players, not a bunch of ticked off idiots. (Although, it looks like they're going to make us suffer through Coach again, ugh.) The people on last night's jury were there because they voted themselves out of the game and onto that jury, they had the numbers and blew it by letting Russell call all the shots. I guess they couldn't get over their own stupidity and took it out on the guy who outWITTED them, outLASTED them and outPLAYED them. Their vote was not a smart vote at all, they were just angry. Bitter, bitter, bitter. A big bunch of poor losers. I think that's the first time I've seen a jury vote so badly. They didn't do their jobs, IMO. I think Jeff was trying to point that out last night, when he kept asking why Natalie won. I can't believe that all of them were so small as to not realize that it wasn't about them anymore.

And I really hate when the jurors ask them their questions (or just make their speeches and stomp off) just to be mean or belittling and see if they can upset them. Talk about grandstanding, they must know it's their last little 2 minutes of face time on TV. Gah. I didn't like anyone on the jury besides Brett. He had some class, at least. The man who wanted to make sure that everyone knew that Mick was a doctor, Russell owned a business and that Natalie had a good job- SO WHAT? Are they now thinking that only a poor person should win the game? That is such convoluted thinking, the whole entitlement thing, envy, whatever you want to call it. That's not what the game is about.

When Russell tossed those socks into the fire, I thought Jaison was gonna come unglued. lol

I guess I just don't get it when I hear them all talking about what a life-changing experience it is to be on Survivor and yet they cling to the bitterness and find ways to justify their own bad behavior while at the same time holding the person who beat them to a higher standard and then punish him for doing so.

I'm just disgusted by it all. I didn't even really like Russell, but I thought he should win. The jury came off looking bad, I think.

Even though she isn't who I would have picked, I think Natalie deserved to win. She had a decent strategy of aligning with Russell and letting him be the fall guy. She couldn't be more aggressive because aggressive women don't do well in this game. Basically, I think she did the best she could with the hand she was dealt.

It was refreshing to see that being a donkey to everyone could keep you from winning. Russell didn't play a good social game and he didn't do anything to smooth over tensions of those he helped to vote off. I thought Russell was a poor loser. He is who I would probably have voted for because he did play a good game although I don't think he is the best strategist this game has ever had.

It was funny how Russell kept trying to "deal" until the very end! He was willing to give up his winnings to be given the title of "sole survivor"! How funny.
I think it was bittersweet, but I just knew Russell wouldn't win. He alienated too many people.
He was fun to watch though.

I was very happy to see that Russell was not rewarded for behaving so badly. I really was wishing that Brett had made it thru but knew that Russell would not have the cajones to keep that promise, it would have guaranteed that he would have lost. I too thought he was a horrible loser, no sportsmanship at all.

The gig is up for him, if he ends up with the villians on the next one they will be prepared for him. I had to smile when he said that this is not the way he behaves in his real life, I don't believe that for a second. He was way too proficient at it for him not to be every experienced at being such a back stabbing sneak.

I fell asleep before the jury trial. LOL!

I sure wouldn't have wanted to be working for Russell today...I'll bet he's a real nasty person, especially after not winning....I also don't believe he's not the same in real life.....
And I wonder who dressed him for last night's show...He looked like a stuffed sausage...He had lost, well most of them had lost weight and even though he still had his belly, he did look better. But he must be back to eating good and looks like he put all the weight back on...
And don't you think, they overdo the makeup just a bit? Of course maybe a little more on Shambo would have been good.....

I noticed Shambo gained the weight back too..but Natalie..looked "healthy"...

I am glad that Russell at least won the 100K.....He should have won the game and as some one earlier said....The sore losers awarded someone that was just a tag along and follower. I didn't see Russell do anything that wasn't done on every show I have ever seen...He masterminded the removal of all his enemies any he did it skillfully. The jury was made us of a bunch of losers that just wanted revenge....and they awarded the least of the players....

I thought Russell was a braggert and his swaggering around camp and boastful nature, I hated but he played the best game.

The jury voted their emotions instead of for the person who actually played the game. Outwit, Outplay and Outlast! Russell did all it all. It's supposed to be Survivor not Prom King or Queen

Eric is a complete tool He is supposed to ask questions.Instead when Natatlie was too dumb to even speak up for her self he decided to take on the role of campaign manager and give a big speech n her behalf. He played the game for her. She couldn't even manage that.

I liked Jaison at first but as the weeks wore on he turned out to be a big crybaby. from playing the race card at TC to his whining last night about how they OMG lied in the game. What a hypocrite! He is studying to be a lawyer so the can lie for the rest of his life to make his living.

Natalie couldn't even defend herself at the final TC. I almost peed my pants when she said she chose to let Russell take the heat for her play. He chose her! She didn't choose him! He could have eliminated her at any time.

I knew Natalie had won when they had her all dolled up for the reunion show. Dumb,blond,Barbie takes it all. ICK At least the other girls who won on their looks previously could speak for themselves and fought to win in front of the jury. She will be forever known as the girl who won a million for doing nothing. Russell will always be remembered as the true Sole Survivor of this game and the viewers confirmed that.

As for Shambo? She may have a fugly hairdo and be a bit rough around the edges but she's a class act. She didn't whine about being voted off and she gave Russell the respect due for being the best player as he deserved.

Another disappointed viewer with Natalie winning. I tried to figure out when she even made a good game-play move. While I didn't start off liking Russell, I grew to enjoy watching him because HE WAS PLAYING THE GAME LIKE NO ONE ELSE HAS. He deserved to win and I think everyone on the jury knew he deserved to win, but, being as bitter as they were, they wouldn't allow Russell to have it. I'm glad America gave him the title of "Best Player" because frankly, that means more than "Sole Survivor", money or not, and was a title given by a non-bias jury.

I think this was the same as when Rob and Amber were on Survivor together. Rob did all the backstabbing and dealing, while Amber rode his coattails. In the end, the jury couldn't stand Rob so they voted for Amber instead. I think this jury did the same thing. They realized Russell had conned them all, so they voted Natalie instead. Russell looked like he was going to cry when the votes where being read and he realized he wasn't going to win. Did Mick get any votes?

Ditto what Flamey said. Russell's father works with my husband, and my husband knows him. From what I have heard about him, he is very hard working...worked his way up to own his own business. He isn't really suave, but has a lot of
common sense, even though he didn't come across so well with
the other players. He out lasted, outwitted, out played all of them. As far as playing the game, he played it and kept it interesting. I don't think most of the other people had
a clue what it takes to be a real survivor at anything.
