Beside the chair in the sitting area of the master bedroom.

I don't carry a purse, but my keys and phone are always on the counter by the back door to the garage. I don't really like carrying my cell phone with me all the time -- can you tell I'm not of this current generation?

on the floor by the desk..or behind a chair in the living room..right now on the back of the couch...because I had to fish out my check book to write the 2 checks a month I write..LOL

I have a table beside the back door with a decorative container that we always put the keys in as we walk in the door. There is a coat rack beside the table that holds our coat, cap/hats. My purse is put in the chair at the credenza where our charging station is for our cell phones or on the coat rack.

In my bedroom

I lose mine regularly. It is usually somewhere in the house, or still in the car.

Last month it went for a ride on the trunk of the car. It went down the drive, outside the gate, and several feet down the main road. In a few minutes when I remembered it I sped back home. A nice lady had stopped and picked it up and all its contents.

that question came up here just this week. Our neighbors, in the cul-de-sac behind us (we can see their house from our kitchen windows)... lost everything to a fire monday afternoon. i walked into my kitchen to start dinner, looked out the window and saw the blaze. total loss, took firefighters five hours to put the flames out. First policeman on the scene rescued the two dogs that were in the house.
I did not mean to hijack this post. but that event was why the question came up here, of purses, eyeglasses, keys and dog leashes. my DH tends to leave his eyeglasses laying just anywhere and we always have to search for them, and we never keep our cell phones with us at all times. Watching how quickly flames engulfed that beautiful home made me think about how fast we could evacuate this house. Normally it is just me, DH and the two dogs but right now DD3 and her two little boys are living with us. So we would have to get everyone safely outside in a hurry. So i am determined to be a little more organized.
Telling all this to remind you all that Precious time could be wasted looking for purses and keys.

In the bathroom...it's handy for putting makeup in and out of my purse and for putting Rx bottles in and out of my purse if I need to carry them with me.

Usually on a table near my back door. Cell phone is supposed to live on my stove but it moves around. I frequently wonder about how fast I could grab my phone, purse and 2 of the 3 cats in case of a fire. No way I could grab all 3 cats.

Jennava that is the very reason I keep my purse in the same place with my keys everyday for the 21 years I have lived here~~my cell phone is always on the bar right by there so I can zip out if need be kitties are usually right there too or would be if I was acting frantic they would want to know what's up!

I am a creature of habit a place for everything and everything in its place~~~

Next to my computer desk

There was an article in our local paper warning us about the increased danger of home break ins at this time of year. But one of the items the police mentioned was to make sure your purse isn't visible to someone who might be looking through your windows.

So I now keep mine in the hall closet near the door to the garage. It used to be near my desk in the kitchen so now when I go up to bed I put my purse to bed on the closet shelf.

I keep it on a shelf in my closet.

Don't carry a purse,just a wallet,and that goes in the drawer of my computor desk.In the kitchen we have this big heavy crystal ash tray that was given to dh years ago when he smoked(hasn't done that for 12 years now) so we use the ashtray for the keys,and it's kept on the counter when you come in the back door,which is the door we always use.No animals anymore,so no worries there.
