Newborn tripletts--CNN

Did anyone else see the story on CNN this morning that shows a dad holding three triplett boys in a NICU? Apparently the babies' mom died shortly after their birth last week. Wells Fargo Bank has a Debra Smith Family Trust Fund established for the babies but I didn't hear what town or state it is in. Can someone fill me in on where it is. I would like to donate to it.

This is what the story on CNN has about the trust fund...

A memorial fund has been set-up as well. If you'd like to donate to that, just go to any Wells Fargo Bank and donate to the Debra L. Smith Family Memorial Fund.

This is so very sad! They live here in Tucson and the church in our neighborhood is collecting donations for them. He works construction and is 28 years old, I believe. The little boys are so precious and my heart goes out to all of them. We will be making a donation, but at the moment, have not decided what. If I didn't have arthritis in my knees, I would volunteer to do some babysitting! Bettye

I saw that news story...how very sad. This Father is going to need a lot of support.

Almost 2 years ago, a realtive of mine by marriage lost a sister who had just delivered twin girls. It was a blatent case of malpractice. The case is still in the courts.

DD#2 and I were discussing multiple births, since she just had twins. She said she couldn't imagine what people really did to handle this if you have more than 2. We decided you'd just have to have a bunch of volunteers. People are always telling her they'll come over and babysit, or what can I do, but when push comes to shove, it's just lip service. I feel for this poor guy. I hope he went to a church that's very active and has some gals that are good are organization and have a helping spirit. God bless him!
