The Kitchen Table

Found it, found it, found it

My cookbook. Under my bed. With my dehydrator. *shaking head*

SIL is "storing" some stuff at my apartment until she finds a place of her own (or goes back to BF) and, apparently, needed some room and shoved stuff I don't use often under the bed. Don't know why she didn't know, or remember, that she put the cookbook under there.

Yay, mystery solved! How odd, under the bed. lolol Pretty cheeky, stashing YOUR stuff under the bed. Where's her stuff? On the shelf in the kitchen? lol

Happy Days! I so hate to misplace something that I have used and enjoyed for years. Living alone, I pretty well have no one to blame besides myself.

When DBF does an occasional project for me here, he will tell me that he left the tools out for me to put away...so I won't be blaming him later when I can't find something. He knows me almost as well as I know myself.....plus how I can lose things on my own.

Great find, although I cannot imagine a worse smell for laundry than lavender. I despise it!! I would take gag me Suavitel or Tide's sweet tart chemical scent over lavender :-O

Found Canadian Anemone growing in the back yard? How toxic is it?

Only toxic if ingested in large quantities :-) Like most members of the Ranuculaceae family, it can produce some caustic irritants to those who may be sensitive but nothing at all like poison ivy!!

I finally found a floor I love, but it’s treated with an antimicrobial

Well that would give me pause too. There's a lot we don't know yet about about various microbes ... some of which are vital our very existence, some of which are not so good. Quite a broad brush to be "anti" about. A quick look shows that these coatings aren't uncommon, so hopefully they're been tested and are benign, but ... none of the flooring products are stating their EPA registration number, at least in the on line advertising. Can you find out the EPA Registration List number so you can look it up? I'd at least want to know what extra chemical I'm walking on in my own home. Probably it's fine but I wouldn't be happy about it on every floor in my home, either.

Are you sure that "old lady" in the other thread hasn't been to your house?

I am SO glad for you! I recently found a bookmark that I thought was lost and gone forever. What a good feeling. I had purchased the bookmark in London and it had pictures of Princess Diana stamps on it and was laminated. Such a silly little thing, but I loved it and was so happy to be reunited!! Enjoy your reunited cookbook!
