I did half an hour on the walker/flyer about 1 am this morning does that count?

7 miles on the ex bike and now a little salsa dancing whew, this exercise thing should make one tired shouldn't it?!?

I've got energy to burn this morning think I'll put the tree up. Next?

Did yoga for the first time yesterday (was quite sore last night and this morning. Today I cut the grass and finished deep-cleaning (at least by my standards)the house. Eric helped or it would have never gotten done. After dinner, we have to do the litter boxes and sweep up the celler. Then to bed.

I'm so bummed! As I mentioned on another thread, I fell while walking when I was out on Monday. I had hoped to be well by now, but my hip and knee are just too swollen to walk. I tried today, and didn't get half a mile. I did download a chair aerobics program online the other day, so I've been doing that. It gives me a good workout, but I can't go for as long as I'd like, as my arms just aren't strong enough. It's definitely spurred me to start doing some weight-lifting with my arms.

I tried HIIT (high intensity interval training) walk this a.m. Haven't done it in awhile and it's certainly more of a workout than a walk. Warm up. Then 30 sec at slow heart rate, 30 sec at med heart rate and 60 sec at all out high intensity. Repeat 10 times then cool down.

Yep, I did my 50 minutes (4.77 kilometres) on the treadmill 9:00 this morning. I just finished decorating one tree, not sure if I'll get the other one done today or not, I have a few errands to run.

Caddy & I have just got in from our 30 min walk. It was lovely when we left so I was just in a t-shirt but we're both soaked to the skin cos the heavens opened 10 mins from home!

Leaving for the gym now, only have about 30 min so I'll hit the elliptical to get the most bang form my buck. :)

Went to the Community Center and spent some time on the weight machines and walking the gym.
My dear neighbor, Ruth, just joined the CC and wants to go with me. Told her sure, not a problem. She's 80 years young, had two knee replacements and is like the Energizer Bunny!
I guess this will make sure I go with regularity!

Is anybody losing weight with all this exercise? I managed 10 min on my bike does that count?

Joann, I sure am not. But I manage to maintain. Which is really my goal.

If I wanted to loose, I would have to workout longer and harder, which just doesn't happen in the winter month. :)

Checking in....did our hour at the gym...the rowing machine again as well. That thing gets my blood moving. Which is good, since it was 37 degrees and the fog was freezing on the grenery. Yes, the lbs are slowly going down, at least enough to help encourage me to keep going. Nanny

I've had my treadmill for 52 days. In those 52 days I've only missed 2 days (but on those days I was out hiking). I've seriously cut back on my eating. No more snacking unless it's fresh fruit. And eating less for meals too. I've only lost 5 or 6 pounds and boy is that frustrating!!! It's always taken me a long time to lose weight and before I would give up too quickly. But after spending a lot of money on the treadmill there is no excuse so that is why I am on it every day. I started out doing 40 minutes, now I am up to 50 minutes a day, at a very brisk pace. I just wish I would lose more weight! But on the plus side, my clothes is looser so I guess I am building muscle (I must be) and people have commented that I am losing weight, so that is good.
