We use Little Smokies ... specifically, the cheesey ones. Then bake according to the biscuit container, I think it's about 15 minutes.

I use Hewbrew National hot dogs for the pig. If you want them smaller then cut them up or even score them down the middle and put in a slice of cheese. I make the dough from scratch and bake according to the dough instructions. I bake mine about 17 minutes @ 400 degrees.

I use smoked Polish Sausage with a Sourdough Blanket.

Easy Pigs
1 Can Pillsbury Bread Sticks
1 pkg Little Smokies

Heat oven to 375ðF. Unroll dough; separate into strips. Cut dough strips in half crosswise. Wrap 1 breadstick half around center of each sausage; pinch ends of dough strip to seal. Place seam side down and about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours.2Bake at 375ðF. for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

I like to cut a hot dog in half and wrap in crescent rolls

I like the mini hot dogs but you cannot buy them here. You can only get the lil smokies...not my favorite. I now buy them from Costco...they're wrapped in puff pastry and delish!

I use Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets. Let them thaw a bit, then divide each sheet into strips the width of your franks. Wrap just enough dough to wrap around the frank, then slice - we generally get 4 little frankies out of 1 Hebrew National frank. Place on baking sheet - bake at 350 for about 20 minutes - the dough is puffy and flaky . They freeze well before baking, too.

good36, those are sausage rolls. Yum, never had a 'real' home made one.

I use Cresent rolls wrapped around a weiner. Everyone else likes a piece of cheese in with theirs. Not me. I am not a hot dog eater, but can devour these no problem. Just dip them in ketchup.

Years and years ago.....OK I really am that old, people used Vienna sausages ....those little wiener things from the can.

I thought "Pig's in a Blanket" was a stuff cabbage too.
