Wanda, that is so pretty! I took these yesterday at the feeder. Please ignore the blue fuel can in pic #2. We really aren't trashy people (LOL!), but DH had that down there for starting bonfires.

BTW, not sure if you can tell from these pics, but we think one of these does may have been shot during deer season. She has an identical wound on each side, although it is well healed now but kindof puckers her hide. She is in the back in this first pic and on the left in the second pic.

Boy, I guess that could be a bullet wound. Hard to imagine recovering from that one.

Wish I had Photoshop. :-( Then again, it would just be one more thing to learn! LOL!
We think it may have happened during bow season. DH said if it missed the vital organs, she would likely be OK. When I first saw her, the areas on each side looked bloody and swollen, but she has healed nicely, so I really think that's what happened.

Great pics! We had heavy frost this a.m. I was walking around taking pics.
