I found a few more old pictures that I've scanned to the computer. A short explanation about this one: My paternal grandparents came to this country just before the First World War. They lived through the shortages and rationing. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor my Grandpa knew what was coming. The very next day (Monday morning) he went to town and bought a new car knowing that soon none would be available. This is Grandpas brand new 1942 Ford. He paid 1004 dollars. It's also the car Dad and Mom did their courting in a few years later. Ron
