Beautiful, Veta and Casey. Soneone ran into the KFC here in town on Friday. Luckily, no injuries, sounds like. Here it is yesterday, after they got it boarded up. Make up your own drive-in joke.

Leslie - It was so funny because I turned around and there he sat all alone at that table just going after it. I don't know who dipped it for him, and typically, he wants to be either in Poppy's lap or his mama's. We all love banana pudding - I guess he's going to carry on the tradition.

Every year I make tamales at Christmas time. I didn't make as many this year, only about 5 dozen but at least I got them made. It is a big tradition in this area...and I finally managed to get some made. I did it in steps because my stamina is very short lived ... It's probably my imagination but I think they are the best tasting I have ever made....or could it be that they took the most effort of any that I have ever done....I used clickable thumbprints so I could show you all three pictures.

Great pictures today, everyone. For the first time ever I have a bird picture to post. I know I'll never be in the same league as Daveinla or Wanda. Yesterday walking through the woods I saw this barred owl. Ron
