Oh how I miss our peach trees, Linda. Those look so beautiful to me!

How I would love to grab a handfull of those peaches. My very favorite fruit...Both my peach trees were destroyed by hard winds this year, but I am going to plant more.

The peaches are from a 1960s slide I scanned. The picture was taken in the Fort Valley, GA area. My Daddy had/has cousins there that own peach orchards and a packing plant. We had gone to visit and the peaches in those baskets were hand picked for us to take home. I guess I grew on the wrong "branch" of the family. I'd love to own an orchard.
