A couple people asked questions yesterday related to the wreath picture.

Susan, most towns have a brush dump around here. Rochester (the big city) with a population of 100,000 has a privately owned brush dump. Customers pay 10 or 20 dollars/truck load to dispose of it. The large pieces are cut, split, and sold for firewood. The smaller stuff is chipped and shredded and sold for mulch. Leaves and grass clippings are taken to a seperate site (this one run by the city) where it's composted and sold.
Smaller towns in the area have a free brush dump where the refuse is shredded and used by the city for mulch.

Jasdip, my brothers greenhouse doesn't do Christmas. Joel used to, but it was a break even situation. Boy Scouts sell wreaths, church groups and civic organizations sell trees. He takes the Winter off and gets organized for Spring. I did make an extra wreath for one of my favorite clients. There was no one home so I hung it on their door and left. Stealth Christmas giving....the best.
