If I had to pick a favorite I guess it would be turtles with pecans. Yum

Even tho I'm type II diabetic, I ALWAYS have candy in a dish. Most always chocolate. Right now there are Russell Stover sugar free in the dish, along with some odds and ends I got in a goody bag at work.

If I could, I'd have peanut M & M's ALL the time...LoL

I love York peppermint patties. Mini. I always have a bag of them hidden somewhere. My grandkids when they were younger used to say yuck till I said they had coconut in them that way they would not eat mine. lol. But they soon learned that I was fibbing now they are their favorite too. I now give them a bag as a holiday treat for both of them.

My favorite candy is the Milky Way carmel candy bar or the Milky Way dark chocolate candy bar.

It's a tie.

I keep a bag of small bag of York Peppermint patties in the freeze

And Marshmallow Peeps ! Right now I have a box in the cabinet of the Christmas snowmen.
Best if stale...peeps or snowmen !

Absolutely positively Jelly Beans!!!

I have a big basket of candy on the coffee table for guests--all kinds of chocolate candy, including sugar-free. I rarely touch anything in the basket...but I can't walk away from jelly beans (so I keep them hidden in a kitchen cabinet).

I love anything from chocolate to licorice and Jolly Ranchers. If it's sweet, I love it!

I adore black licorice, but also chewy candy like caramels. If they're chocolate covered, so much the better.

ALL of it. Too much of it. All of the time. It'd be easier to say what I didn't like. Oh wait, that doesn't exist. Favorite favorite though? I cannot pass by a pound of See's Nuts and Chews without buying a box. They're only around twice a year here, so really, that's not too bad. And son and I eat it over a week or so timeframe. By far, my favorite. They roast the nuts, and the honey marshmallow, they obviously make that from scratch. So delish! They call it scotchmallow and it's copyrighted. Yes, it's that good.

In my desk drawer at work...mint m&m's

But I love chocolate...pretty much any chocolate.

My favorite is Stefanelli sponge candy, made locally in Erie, PA.

Chocolate covered peanuts; I'm addicted to them. I eat a big bagful about every 3 or 4 days.

I really like coconut bon bons. Remember those things you could buy at the candy counter in most dime stores? They were colored pink, yellow, brown and white. I could still buy them from Vermont store but I don't want to pay their price.

I'm having big problems with my computer and crossing my fingers it will limp through until after the holidays and I get a new one!

patti, you're making me think of Brach's pick-a-mix. Neopolitan coconut candy. Is this it?

Here is a link that might be useful: Neopolitan coconut candy

A special favorite Christmas candy seems to have disappeared, although not because it has been eaten! Just can't find it any longer as stores seem to stock year-round candy like M&M's, Reese's in holiday foil wrap and call it Christmas treats. The favorite, now missing, is round red raspberry hard candy with a soft raspberry filling.

Ribbon candy in a crystal candy dish or on a silver tray is pretty and fun, too. That's still available though not as widely any more.

I love chocolate, but I'm a lot more likely to dive for a plate of French fries than any candy. Am rarely tempted to buy candy to have here at the house.

But, these last weeks I've had a candy jar of jelly bellys on the kitchen counter and I think I've had two or three every time I've walked through the kitchen. All day long, and I make a lot of trips through that kitchen given the layout of this house....living room and bedrooms are on one side of it, laundry and office are on the other.

Uh Oh, Wonder if that's why it seemed to take my hygienist longer to clean my teeth last week :(

Patti, I'll tell you a story about those coconut bonbons. My husband liked them. I didn't. One night I said, "I wish I had something sweet. Like some kind of candy." Jody said, "I have some candy in my truck." I asked what kind and he said chocolate with coconut. Well, I was thinking of a candy called haystacks...milk chocolate with coconut in it. So out I went to get it. It had been pouring down rain. I got to the truck and was very disappointed to see what kind it really was. So, I go back to the house, trying to keep my feet dry. There was a board laying on the ground...and I jumped on it...landing on three big nails sticking up on the board. My shoe was nailed to the board and I had all 3 nails stuck in my foot. Oh, the agony! I got free and hobbled in the house and lay across the bed, cussing for all I was worth. Not worth much at that point. I told him, "Why didn't you tell me that was what it was? I wouldn't have gone out there to get it!"

Anyway, I am not big on chocolate....I do like a good truffle. My favorite is hard candy...lemon flavored, but I also like those little maple sugar candies shaped like leaves, etc.

Chocolate covered nuts for me! Walgreens now carries some fabulous (and expensive) chocolate covered cashews--the DeLish brand. I try to avoid the entire isle when I'm there because I begin to crave them immediately upon entering the store.

In a pinch, M & M peanut will do, too!

seeker12 -- almost bought a can of the hard filled candy, at the Dollar Store. Check online for your flavor.

Dove dark chocolate is always present in a small dish in the kitchen here. For special occasions I indulge in Peanut Butter Meltaways from Gardner Candy Company in Tyrone, PA. Unfortunately I have a recipe for it that even DH can make in the microwave that is an acceptable stand in. Makes a 9 x 13 pan. Plenty to give away plates of little squares to neighbors with all the trimmings around the edges to save for me!

For me, it has to be the Lindt chocolate truffles. I love all varieties of it but my hands down fav is the white chocolate. Now I want one (or ten).

I âÂ¥âÂ¥âÂÂ¥ Lindt's Lindor chocolate, especially the ones with the orange center.

Seeker, the 'raspberries ' haven't disappeared...Brach 's makes them available all year round. But you can find better quality on line.

Russell Stover ribbon candy is a work of art. We have a RS store not far from us and always make a visit before the holidays, for gifts.....AND us.

But I find the best selection of nice, old fashioned candies on line. A big favorite of mine is crystallized ginger.
