Chicken Pasta Skillet

Total Time: 40 min

Makes: 4

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into small pieces

1 medium green pepper, sliced

1 small onion, sliced

1-1/2 cups water

2 cups rotini pasta, uncooked

1 can (680 ml) tomato sauce

1 cup KRAFT Mozzarella Shredded Cheese

SPRAY large fry pan with cooking spray. Add chicken; cook and stir on medium-high heat 5 min. Add green pepper and onion; cook and stir an additional 3 to 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.

ADD water. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in pasta, making sure pasta is covered with water; cover.

Simmer 15 min. or until pasta is tender.

STIR in sauce. Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Reduce heat to low; continue cooking 5 min. or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Substitute 1 lb. Italian sausage, crumbled, or lean ground beef instead of chicken or use Kraft 4 Cheese Italiano Shreds instead of mozzarella.

Pattico, spagetti sauce is just tomato sauce with stuff added. I think you could easily substitute spagetti sauce. SamKaren, I always cook my chicken at high heat (425) and only for 13 - 15 minutes. That tends to ensure a nice, fully cooked, and juicy and tender piece of chicken breast. Laurel

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup Ingredients 1 onion, chopped 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans 1 (15 ounce) can black beans 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer 2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning 3 whole skinless, boneless chicken breasts shredded Cheddar cheese (optional) sour cream (optional) crushed tortilla chips (optional) Cooking Instructions Place the onion, chili beans, black beans, corn, tomato sauce, beer, and diced tomatoes in a slow cooker. Add taco seasoning, and stir to blend. Lay chicken breasts on top of the mixture, pressing down slightly until just covered by the other ingredients. Set slow cooker for low heat, cover, and cook for 5 hours. Remove chicken breasts from the soup, and allow to cool long enough to be handled. Stir the shredded chicken back into the soup, and continue cooking for 2 hours. Serve topped with shredded Cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips, if desired.

Here's another one. Don't remember if I've posted it before or not, but I love ordering it at the Olive Garden Restaurant. Copycat Olive Garden Alfredo Fettucine Ingredients: 8 Oz Cream cheese, cut in bits 1/2 Cup Milk 3/4 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated 8 Oz Fettuccine, cook; drain 1/2 Cup Butter (or margarine) In large saucepan combine cream cheese, Parmesan, butter and milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Toss pasta lightly with sauce, coating well. Leftovers freeze well. Makes 4 servings

Oh man.. oh man.. I aint doggin' ya' Lucky.. but. No fish sauce? No shrimp paste? No green or red curry? I say you dump this horrible excuse for a Thai dish and the silly idea of a "Thai seasoning" (whatever that might be, it sure aint the ingredients listed) and all.. all recipe and ... write Sorry.
