That's fine as at least you are kind enough to come back to post. You'd be surprised how many members ask for assistance, and when receiving same never come back to report. Both success and failure are learning tools for us all. Again out of curiosity, did you at any time reboot, or shut down and subsequently start up between your original post and the restoration of the drive indicator? DA

Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it... the reason the picture I posted here is 104K is because photobucket resized it... the original is 1.32 MB. It is the same size as photos I've posted successfully to the forum on other computers... the same size as other photos that is why I think the problem is with this computer and the way it is dealing with file size... this is the only computer I have this problem on! I will play with Irfanview. I just realized something... apparently, before on my old machine (and on other computers) they are being converted to a smaller size automatically... here's what I mean Here's a link to a thread I posted over a year ago about a vacuum that a friend restored for me.... the pictures of the machine itself and the guy resoring it for me are all under 300K on the forum itself, but they are still on my memory card and they are all about 1330K on my memory card and I never changed anything about them. Is there some kind of setting where the computer automatically reduces them that I don't know about? The size posted on that thread is definitely sufficient, but it seems now that I have to make them much smaller (in size).... I still have those same pictures on my memory card and they will not post unless I reduce them significanly (I can tell whether or not something is going to post by doing preview mode, so I don't have to submit a new thread thread when I test something) Any help would be adored and appreciated... I think I'm just missing some setting or something.... It all depends on your owner-architect agreement and its terms. For example, if you are on an hourly rate, s/he certainly will make as many changes as your request since you will be paying for them. On the other hand, if s/he's on a flat fee, every change you request eats into her/his overhead and profit, so there will be a limit to the number and scope of acceptable changes. Since s/he has told you s/he will make as many changes as needed to keep you happy during the design stage still puts reasonable responsibility on you to make good decisions and abide by them. Having the second floor completely reversed in the middle of the design stage (second set of drawings) is a pretty clear indication that you aren't paying too much attention early on. It's a major change and it's possible that it could create all sorts of ripple effects. If that's the last and only change of that scale it's possible that the architect may continue to work with you. You may want to use more due diligence in the future. Just a thought!
