Need hellp saving a clipping

I just tried to send myself a clipping of a recipe and this is what I was told in red!!

The GardenWeb member .......has elected not to receive communications through forms on the site.

How do I correct this?? I have been saving clippings for years.

hmmmm...We were just discussing this at The Test Forum.

Anyway, using the email this post link at the side, I just sent your post to you putting your member name (arosegirl) in the TO line. It looked and acted like to got sent just fine.

I then tried to send the clipping using your email addy in the TO line and I too got the message you got.

I guess it is just another GW problem that has come to light...sigh.

Why not see if you can send to yourself using your member name in the TO line, if that wasn't how you did it before.

Just copy and paste into wordpad and save it to your documents.

If the roots are still intact then it will regrow. Raspberries are like weeds, the spread through the roots and grow all over the place. That's why it's very odd to only find one.

For the best fruit quality, I've always removed them as soon as possible. Unless you are wanting to try to root them to grow some more plants, there is really know point in leaving them on the plant. That is energy going into the runners that could be going into the fruit or foliage.

Need advice on recycling clippings, wood shavings and scraps

Vegetable scraps would be a "green" similar to the grass clippings with a C:N ratio of about 15:1. When you compost wood chips, a C:N ratio of 60:1 to 500:1 depending on the age, you need to get a lot more Nitrogen in the mix then if you just used shredded leaves, but composting wood chips is doable. If you recycle your grass clippings, mulch mow them, you will be providing your turf grass with 1/2 that annual Nitrogen they need, and that allows you to cut down on the fertilizer you might need to put down. You can compost all the tree leaves you can get and if your do not have enough other material to boost the C:N ratio (freshly fallen leaves would have a C:N ratio of around 40:1, older leaves would be closer to 80:1) you could use other N sources such as manure, blood meal, etc.

I do what Kay does and to get it into your own font etc instead of clicking paste( if you have WORD)
got to Edit and paste spectial
and then unformated text
then do paste it will fit into whatever font etc you have set up for your documents and you dont have all the lines and stuff from the original page
