All of mine were sent out today--:)

The sad thing is that we are charged $1.03 per card for american and 63cents for Canadian--unreal

Happy to hear everyone enjoyed our month of Dec. swap. I sure do enjoy keeping up with the group. We have lost a lot of members and I wonder what happened. Susan N. - Thanks for the birthday wishes. One year I made my own cards on blank paper. I got a very fancy filagree wreath stamp...don't quite remember but I think you stamped on some type of adhesive. Then you covered it in a powder and then heated it which caused the powder to melt and become dimensional. Then I hand colored each one with water color pens. I got another stamp for the inside that said Merry Christmas or some such holiday wish. It was a lot of work, but it was fun. Not sure I have any left...

YES! A few weeks I aquired someone elses baby book from 1951. Many of the cards, even those with 'son' and boy' were pink. But anyhow there were several of those celluloid cards. One had a stork with a real feather attached to the wing. They are about 2" square. They are also in an envelope waiting to be repurposed into baby cards for future occasions.

I'm posting the Jan. - Feb. Round Robin Swap so I hope this gives everyone time to see it and sign up if they want with the few extra days tacked on - although by now we are very close to January - so I'm not as early as I expected. Two or three members offered to add extra seeds and they will get the package towards the beginning of the swap so there can be a wider variety and a larger number of packs to choose from when it comes to you.

I sent mine out first of last week.
I had a few more to send, so I addressed some more, and had them at the door to get mailed. DH was heading out and he took them. He didn't notice the 3 at the top "that had no stamp". I ran out and had to buy 3 more.

So I'll get them back to me, hopefully today, and then re-send them. :(

Like Ont_Gal said, our postage is high, plus tax on top of that.

We sent the bulk of them out last night. Still have a few to write up in the next day or so. We've already gotten some.

I sent mine out yesterday as well.....but now I am worried. I forgot to tell hubby that there were a few Canadian cards there and I bet he didn't notice when he put the stamps on them. The Canadian cards may be a day or so later! I will have to ask him.

Hope to get mine out next day or so. Got involved with other projects. to my Canadian friends, one of the countries I collect stamps for is Canada. Maybe next year let me know, and I can send you some of my extra ones. You may have to add several together to make up the amount. Not sure if this is legal to send them to you or not, but I don't see a problem
