If you google the shampoo it's available at Vt Country Store. Also found a recipe in someone's blog. She didn't want to pay 14.95 per bottle. LOL I don't blame her.

I know how you feel Melanie. They just discontinued my favorite Jane liquid make-up so I'm buying up what I see to hoard while I search for a replacement.

An interesting shampoo that contained thirty percent beer. Read the label to learn the ingredients and you can make the shampoo yourself. The "new" Body On Tap is not the original recipe.

Read below for some marketing trivial for Body On Tap.

And back in the 70's I loved "Charlie Girl" cologne. I can just see their ads-a beautiful, slim blond. I was a short blond back in the day, and more "cute" than beautiful.

Sorry, Melonie, I can't help you with your discontinued product. The one I wish I could find is Fabreeze air effects in the mint scent. When that product first came out, they had that scent, and I loved it. It was a c[ean, refreshing scent, not flowery. they discontinued it. Dottie

It looks like Loreal Nutrissime can still be found on line, though a lot of places show it as 'out of stock'.

Melanie -- I'm guessing this must be a shampoo-plus-conditioner. Doesn't matter what shampoo you use (long as you're not using Tide or something that's a serious de-greaser). What does make a difference is the conditioner.

In the quest for something NEW! manufacturers are forever dropping good products. I used to use Borghese cosmetics (a Revlon brand). Loved it when Costco started carrying a Borghese slim lipstick w/lipliner in the other end. Whoosh! Gone. Gosh, guys, I'd pay more for it. Just keep making it!

DH had comprehensive skin testing done this summer due to some stubborn rashes. The dermatologist had researched thousands of OTC products and made a list noting their AWFUL ingredients. Formaldahyde is a common one but they call it something else. After all, would you knowingly put THAT on your skin? DH's face cleared up just by eliminating some products.

When I found the original Heaven Scent 8 or so years ago, I bought some and loved it. Got used to using it, and poof - they "improved" it. Nothing like the real thing, unfortunately :-(

Chisue, I always wore Princess Marcella Borghese's "Fiamma" perfume but they stopped making it years ago. I've seen it on-line, but it must be 10 to 15 years old by now. Plus the sites I saw want like $400 for a little bottle. Boy, did that smell good. I wish someone would buy the formula and make it again.

Patti43 -- Oh, me too! I even wrote to Revlon but they were no help. I agree, 20-year-old perfume probably would NOT be what we remember. I actually liked the bath powder best -- less intense.

This reminds me to go look for a bottle of "Joy" I bought years ago at St. Thomas. It's never been opened -- wonder if it's still good. Wonder if I can wear ANY perfume now with my sinus and asthma issues! LOL

Melanie, thefind.com lists Nutrissime face cream for ten dollars.

I want the nice lipstick I used to get at Fedco.
Fedco (sigh!). My eyes are tearing up now -- how I miss that place!

I have baby fine hair and used Helene Curtis Thermasilk heat activated hair spray for years. I could spray and use a curling iron or use rollers and spray and blow dry and never had sticky weighed down hair. It gave me body without being stiff. I can find this online but the local stores don't carry it anymore. The last time I found it was in the Dollar General. I bought all they had but now I've run out and guess I'll have to order on line as much as I hate to do that. Especially for a grooming product that should be available in the stores at a much better price.

Thank you thank you. I think I spelt nutrissime wrong thats why I couldnt find it lol

Here is one place that has a number of hard-to-find products.

Also google where to find xxx and you may find a site for what you are looking for.
