While I understand the concept of the game, I just don't understand how you have a different song "answer" for every question. Taking an average song length of three minutes, I'd have one song as the answer for all of the questions. Admittedly, I'm a fast typist, but even someone typing only 15 words a minute is going to have one song as the answer for 9 or 10 of the questions.

And I'm certainly not inclined to sit around for three minutes in between typing my answers...

My parents like outdoor gardening but hate house plants, I don't know why. They have a really amazing garden too, but just can't handle house plants! I haven't gone crazy with houseplants yet, a Sans on our desk, a few succulents in the window, and about 4 tropicals scattered downstairs. So far my fiance is glad I have found a hobby to put my extra time into (and he is REALLY excited for tomatoes this summer lol) though he doesn't get it. I like the "feeling" it gives the house and I feel like it makes the house healthier. I know he is afraid that I'll become one of the people on here that have 300 plants in their house LOL! I brought home a palm (that I ended up returning for something else) and I could tell he hated it "It's really.....big" but didn't know how to tell me without crushing my dreams LOL

Actually someone was using the room when I took the pictures, so the books on the small table are theirs and they moved the Kleenex there from the dresser. And their toiletries bag is that black watch thing on the dresser. They put the throw on the bed. I am totally against crown molding in individual rooms. Either the entire house has it top to bottom (excepting the bathrooms maybe), or nothing has it. Crown molding is architecture and it should be consistent from room to room, not piecemeal. The first thing I do when I walk into a clients house and see trim that is different designs in different rooms is suppress a desire to get out a crow bar and start taking it down. Crown molding is an all or nothing proposition in my design handbook. I agree it will be appropriate in a house like this, but unless she ponies up enough to do the entire house, it stays naked. I find the comments about the art interesting because (again this thread stemmed from thoughts about this room) in the "How much personal resonance?" thread, the Vast Majority of people said that they buy art for it's meaning and that they do Not buy it just to GO with the room, and here most people are criticizing the art, because it is All pieces that have some personal connection to either the homeowner or the guests who frequent the room. So either a lot of people don't practice what they preach or it is a completely different subset of people who answered each thread. Like I said, I think the art needs to be juggled around a bit and maybe more added but I wouldn't really ask someone to take something out that they had a connection to, whether it went with the scheme or not.

Another vote for Apples to Apples....we play it often...and do a lot of laughing. I have the regular game and my daughter has the junior game of it...they both play about the same. Pictionary Man is a lot of fun too... We have Friday night family game night quite often. patti

Seil - when I use the flash..it always makes everything look white...so if the flash pops up, I cover it with my hand. Maybe it's because the camera is too close to the bloom?? Merlena - thanks so much for trying again and again!!! Your pictures are wonderful!!! Your MEC and Royal Amethyst are my favorites...incredible!!! Neil Diamond is a big WOW!!! We almost have pictograms/hieroglphics ... if we standardized a system where R is always your Royal Amethyst, H could be Helen's Huntington Rose, S could be Seil's Sisters At Heart, T could be Straw's The Dark Lady, A could be my August Luise and E could be Joey's Ebb Tide....we could post pictures (which I can't copy from your posts) to spell the word HEARTS...so our own secret language. LOL Or not. :)

I'm with Lindsey, can't figure how to get a different answer for each question without waiting 3 or 4 minutes for the song to play.

I was in a big hurry last night and was not articulate. I will try again.
I hope my lack of eloquence won't spoil keep you from playing. The answers can be hilarious.

Here is a better explanation of the game.

1. Put your iPod on shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer.
3. YOU MUST WRITE THAT SONG NAME DOWN NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS!

iTunes on your computer works too.
If you store and listen to music with an mp3player, like Real Play, this game with work too.

I used my 'Playlist' and just used the songs in the order that they are listed. Yes I'm already listing to Christmas music. LOL
