Chris, I would be interested in any tomato seeds that you may have extra of. My hubby and I were just talking about what to put in the veggie garden last night. My family likes canteloupe, watermelon, tomatoes, cumcumbers, and green beans. Would be interested in anything unusual, fun for the kids! But if you've got everything ready for Patty, or have it mailed, please don't worry about me!! I wasn't able to send to everyone either. I really wanted to though!! On the few occasions I have been lucky and found lamb roasts "reduced for quick sale" after Easter I have made a wonderful Mediterranean-ish stew. I cubed the meat, dredged it in flour and browned in a bit of oil, added a good amount of chopped garlic an onion or 2, green pepper. 5 or 6 or more roma tomatoes, seeded and cut up or a large can or plum tomatoes cut up, a couple of canned blackened red peppers, a generous glug of dry red wine, rosemary and oregano to taste and simmered until the meat was very very tender. One time I added calamata olives, but wished I hadn't! Served with rice. My mother made a very different lamb stew...I need to try to recreate her's....because I loved it! Linda c

amck, the Natura pillows are Canadian sizes, so they're different from American standard and queen size pillows. The standard Natura is quite small. I have the standard because I ordered it first because I like American standard pillows better than queen, but it was so small, like a kid's pillow, so I have that on the sofa and I ordered a queen for the bed. I think everyone here who bought Naturas got the queen size. You'll need queen cases for it as well. The standards will be much too small.

Please forgive me for breaking in on your thread, but I was Googling Jan Jones and happened upon your messages. I attended the Victorian Front Porch Tour Saturday nite, and as usual I was in awe. Everything was decorated beautifully. Carolyn, I remember your home because of the gold horse and the lighted candle hanging. In fact, I took a picture of the candles. Also took many more pictures of the homes as we walked through the neighborhood. There is a home on the corner with palm trees that I believe I have fallen in love with. Although not victorian, it is a gorgeous home. I can only imagine how pretty the interior must be - such a unique home. I have read that when Jan lived in the area, she had a shop downtown with her mom and also taught a class each Christmas. I am sorry to hear that her mom passed away recently. Carolyn, I'm wondering if you possibly know where Jan moved to, and how to get in touch with her. I cannot believe that such a talented individual lived in the area for so many years and I only heard of her and the tour 3 or 4 years ago. I would like to get in touch with her to see if she still has a shop and teaches any classes. I hope your neighborhood will continue this tradition for many years to come. I've looked forward to attending the last few yeas since I became aware of the tour. My favorite night is the walking tour. By the way, I live a few miles north of you in Lanett. Your bread looks delicious. I agree - the pictures are good enough that they appear to be from a magazine. Thanks for posting your recipes - I'll have to print these out and give them a try.
