I was doing the happy dance last night when the results were announced last night. I left the DVR recording GMA this morning to watch when I get home. I did see a clip of Helio being carried into the GMA studio. He was still grinning!!! They told Julianne how beautiful she looked for so early in the morning. She said she still had her makeup on from last night, as they had been on a plane from LA to NY

I'm happy with the results too!!!!! Mel's facial expressions got to be very annoying to me when she was waiting on her results.

Julianne Hough is absolutely incredible. I'm not surprised thet she "drove" Helio to the championship ;o)

Excellent show!!! I love how this entire cast of characters all seemed to geniunely care about each other, including the hosts. They were all winners in my book.

I was really happy for Helio, although I thought Mel was the better dancer. Helio did a fabulous job for an amateur with no training.

But boy, have I lost respect for Marie. Found this on msnbc:

"Access Hollywood has learned the ChildrenÂs Miracle Network, a charity co-founded by Marie sends out millions of e-mails asking their supporters to vote for Marie.

"The e-mails are probably around 2 million once you add in corporate sponsors, hospitals, TV stations and all their friends and family  even bigger than that once they send that e-mail out to others," Roger Cook, VP of Public Relations for ChildrenÂs Miracle Network said."

Well, that explains a lot.

The winners were on GMA this AM. The excitement and energy practically jumped out of the television!! Helio is such a trip. Seems like a very cool guy.
Mel B sounded like a sore loser to me. Said she "didn't want to talk to Helio", "there had been a recount, and she won", etc. She's not very gracious.

I guess Mel shouldn't have been so confident that she was the winner, which is what she all but said before the show, planning on where she'd put the trophy, etc. One never knows how things will turn out.

Judy, if your comment about the state of Utah voting for Marie is because she's Mormon - so are Julianne and her brother.

I am also glad that Marie (and Donnie) will now hopefully disappear. She should have never gone this far. This is not a popularity contest and they were everywhere trying to get people to vote for her. Helio deserved it for sure. And now he's single, girls.
