I was told I needed to have a sleep study done...so I did. They called me back and said I need to be retested while wearing a mask....so I did last night. I have a sinus problem and that air blowing up my nose all night gave me a terrible sinus headache!
In my opinion, I do not need this mask. The nurse the first time said that I had very minor problem with my oxygen level dropping to 82 but in her opinion, it was nothing to be worried about and the nurse I had last night thought it was necessary....although she did say she only had it set on 8 and it has to be over 6 to be paid by Medicare.
Am I the only one who has problems with air blowing on my face?...she seemed to have never heard of this before. I even close the vents in my car and house when they blow on me...and never can be under a ceiling fan etc.
If you have a mask, what is the air flow number you use? Thanks!
